The control device applied for an internal combustion engine 1, comprises; a plurality of cylinders 2; an intake manifold 5 guiding intake air to each of the plurality of cylinders 2; an EGR device 14 taking part of exhaust from an exhaust passage 4 as EGR gas and recirculating the part of exhaust into an intake passage 3 upstream of the intake manifold 5. In the control device, wrap-around preventing wall 5a for leading intake air so that the intake air flowing into the intake manifold 5 flows toward a cylinder 2 of #1 is disposed to the intake manifold 5, and fuel injection timing of the cylinder 2 of #1 is controlled so that difference between torque generated in the cylinder 2 of #1 and torque generated in cylinders 2 of #2-#4 becomes small.
