To prevent deterioration of operability due to torque increase caused by increase of fresh air quantity during deceleration.
Throttle valve closing speed at a beginning is controlled to be slower than prescribed throttle valve closing speed not to increase fresh air quantity in suction air quantity with close of an EGR valve when a vehicle is decelerated under prescribed conditions, the throttle valve close velocity is controlled to the prescribed throttle valve speed after that, and a throttle valve 6 is closed to target throttle valve opening. Consequently, since fresh air quantity in the suction air quantity does not increase with close of the EGR valve 11, increase of torque due to increase of fresh air quantity during deceleration is prevented and operability is improved.
