Abstract:

To provide a control device capable of controlling the vane opening of a variable nozzle supercharger for an internal combustion engine equipped with a high pressure EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) device, a low pressure EGR device, and the variable nozzle supercharger without deteriorating fuel economy.

The control device 1 adjusts the vane opening of the variable nozzle supercharger 33 to an opening corresponding to a prescribed operation state determined by the engine speed or the like of an internal combustion engine body 10 when EGR gas is recirculated only by the high pressure EGR device 31, and adjusts the vane opening to a vane opening larger than the vane opening at the time of the recirculation of EGR gas only by the high pressure EGR device 31 in a state that the operation state is the same according to the prescribed operation state when EGR gas is recirculated by the low pressure EGR device 32.
