Abstract:

To provide a control device for an internal combustion engine controlling EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) quantity with certain accuracy even when a pressure sensor downstream of an intake throttle valve has a failure.

A learning value of a feedback coefficient of LPL (Low Pressure Loop) throttle valve opening is calculated beforehand. If a target value calculation part detects a failure of the pressure sensor 301 installed downstream of an LPL throttle valve 204, the LPL throttle valve opening is calculated by multiplying target LPL throttle valve opening by the calculated feedback coefficient.
