Abstract:
To highly accurately control air volume to achieve target torque even in a condition where an engine speed is changed, when a throttle delay control for delaying timing of outputting target throttle opening to a throttle is performed.
The future engine speed by a delay time Δt than present is predicted. The air volume required for achieving the target torque at the predicted engine speed is calculated as a target air volume. Further, throttle opening required for achieving the target air volume at the predicted engine speed is calculated as target throttle opening.
