Abstract:
To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine, controlling the fuel injection with excellent accuracy.
In the control device of the internal combustion engine 1, distortion generated in an engine body 2 caused by combustion of fuel in a combustion chamber 11 is measured by a distortion measuring means 24 mounted on the engine body 2. The timing of the maximum combustion pressure is detected based on the distortion of the engine body 2, and the fuel injection timing of a fuel injection valve is controlled based on the timing of the maximum combustion pressure. Thus, the thermal efficiency of the internal combustion engine and the exhaust are improved.
