Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an internal combustion engine capable of suppressing pulsation of fuel pressure becoming large in a delivery pipe according to opening/closing drive of a fuel injection valve.SOLUTION: When pulsation of fuel pressure in a delivery pipe 3 becomes large according to opening/closing drive of a fuel injection valve 4 when jetting a fuel from the fuel injection valve 4, the influence appears as variation with respect to a proper value of a fuel injection amount in the fuel injection valve 4. When such variation with respect to the proper value of the fuel injection amount occurs, by driving (electric conduction) a glow plug 5, the fuel in the delivery pipe 3 is heated by the glow plug 5. When the fuel in the delivery pipe 3 is heated by the glow plug 5, fuel vapor generates in the delivery pipe 3, and air bubbles of the fuel vapor generate. Then, a pressure wave due to the pulsation of the fuel pressure disappears by coming into contact with the air bubbles of the fuel vapor; thereby, it is suppressed that the pulsation of the fuel pressure becomes large in the delivery pipe 3.
