Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce combustion noise generated from an internal combustion engine as much as possible and suppress adhesion of deposit onto a nozzle hole of a fuel injection valve.SOLUTION: A control device for an internal combustion engine having a common rail, rail pressure control means and a fuel injection valve includes: control means for executing combustion noise reduction rail pressure control; and deposit adhesion suppression rail pressure calculation means for calculating current deposit adhesion suppression rail pressure on the basis of a correlation between the deposit adhesion suppression rail pressure and a nozzle hole correlation temperature and a current nozzle hole correlation temperature. When executing the combustion noise reduction rail pressure control, the control means controls the rail pressure to the current deposit adhesion suppression rail pressure in a predetermined condition.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
