Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine which can suppress the deterioration of intake efficiency at impulse supercharging, in an internal combustion engine with an EGR device having an intake control valve in an intake passage of each cylinder.SOLUTION: First to fourth intake control valves are arranged in first to fourth intake passages which communicate with cylinders of a parallel four-cylinder internal combustion engine. The first and fourth intake control valves and the second and third intake control valves are operated by a common drive actuator. EGR introduction passages sequentially communicate with downstream-side EGR introduction parts of the intake control valves. In the middle of the EGR introduction passage, there is arranged a block valve for blocking the communication of a side which communicates with the first and second intake passages and a side which communicates with the third and fourth intake passages. Then, when impulse supercharging using the intake control valve is performed, and an EGR introduction operation is not performed, the control device closes the block valve.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
