Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine capable of controlling a fuel injection valve while reflecting a valve closing delay time when the fuel injection valve is actually fitted to an internal combustion engine, and thus, improving exhaust gas characteristics and fuel consumption performance.SOLUTION: A control device 1 of an internal combustion engine 3 including a fuel injection valve 10 having a valve closing delay time Toff, includes an ECU 2. The ECU 2 executes a control for an initial value in fuel injection control and ignition timing control so that an initial value learning condition is established (step 61, 81), calculates an initial value Toff_ini of the valve closing delay time when the initial value learning condition is established during execution of the control for the initial value (steps 4-7), calculates a valve opening time Ti of the fuel injection valve 10 by using the initial value Toff_ini of the valve closing delay time in executing normal time control (step 67), and controls the fuel injection valve 10 so as to open the valve at the valve opening time Ti in executing the normal time control (step 70).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
