Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy of knocking detection.SOLUTION: A control device for controlling an internal combustion engine having an effective compression ratio change device for changing an effective compression ratio and a cylinder internal pressure sensor for detecting a pressure in a cylinder determines occurrence of a knock when knock intensity obtained on the basis of a detection value of the cylinder internal pressure sensor is larger than a knock determination value. The knock determination value is made larger when a compression ratio of the internal combustion engine is higher than when the compression ratio of the internal combustion engine is lower.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
