Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately estimate a wall temperature of a combustion chamber during fuel cut in a deceleration operation.SOLUTION: A control device for controlling combustion of an internal combustion engine calculates a difference between an estimation value of a wall temperature of a combustion chamber and a cooling water temperature when fuel cut is started, calculates an integrated value of intake air amount after the fuel cut is started, decreases data on the difference in accordance with an increase in the integrated value of the intake air amount, calculates an estimation value of the wall temperature of the combustion chamber during the fuel cut on the basis of a detection value of the cooling water temperature and the data on the difference, and corrects ignition timing and fuel injection amount on the basis of the estimation value of the wall temperature when fuel supply is resumed from the fuel cut state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
