Abstract:
To provide a control device for an internal combustion engine, which can accurately calculate a temperature and an amount of cylinder gas and an EGR ratio while suppressing an influence of a transport delay of an external EGR to appropriately control the internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: In a control device for an internal combustion engine in which internal EGR and external EGR are conducted, an ideal cylinder gas amount Gth and an ideal cylinder gas temperature Tcylth in an ideal state, in which neither of the EGR gasses is recirculated in a cylinder, are calculated (steps 1, 2). A mixed gas amount (GAIRCYLSD) of intake air and the external EGR gas present on a downstream side of a throttle valve 7 is calculated, on the basis of a rotation speed NE of the internal combustion engine and an intake air pressure PBA (step 21), to detect a mixed gas temperature (Tain). A temperature Tcyl and an amount Gact of actual cylinder gas and an EGR ratio REGRT are calculated on the basis of the ideal cylinder gas amount, the ideal cylinder gas temperature, the mixed gas amount, the mixed gas temperature, and the like (steps 24, 4, 5), to control the internal combustion engine 1 on the basis of the EGR ratio.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
