Abstract:
To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine which can control a fuel injection amount matched to an increase in oxygen storage amount at a restart after idling even if temperatures of an exhaust emission control catalyst differ from each other at the idling of the internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: A control device of an internal combustion engine has: an oxygen storage amount estimation part for estimating an oxygen storage amount of an exhaust emission control catalyst; and an injection amount control part for changing a fuel injection amount at restart of the internal combustion engine on the basis of an estimation value of the oxygen storage amount of the exhaust emission control catalyst. The oxygen storage amount estimation part estimates an increase amount of the oxygen storage amount at the pre-restart idling of the internal combustion engine to be smaller as a temperature change of the exhaust emission control catalyst before and after the idling is larger.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
