Abstract:
To provide a control device for an internal combustion engine enabling suppression of torque shortage.SOLUTION: A control device for an internal combustion engine includes: a first determination section for determining whether or not the internal combustion engine is operated in a second operation line in which required torque when required speed is the same is set larger than that in a first operation line, out of the first and second operation lines defining relation between the required speed and the required torque necessary for attaining required output of the internal combustion engine; a second determination section for determining whether or not a correlation value correlated with air density of outside air indicates that the air density is a predetermined value or lower when an affirmative determination is made by the first determination section; and a control section controlling a control parameter of a control mechanism that controls intake air amount of the internal combustion engine to a side on which the intake air amount increases when an affirmative determination is made by the second determination section, compared to the case where a negative determination is made by the second determination section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
