Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect abnormality of an air bypass valve discriminatingly from abnormality of a waist gate valve in an internal combustion engine with a supercharger including the air bypass valve and the waist gate valve.SOLUTION: A control device for an internal combustion engine with a supercharger includes: a unit 104 which determines a manipulated variable of a waist gate valve (WGV) 38 so that charging pressure reaches target charging pressure; an air flow meter 42 which acquires a measured value mafm of an air flow rate of an intake passage 10; a calculation part 106 which acquires target diaphragm pressure Pdft; a unit 110 which calculates an estimated flow rate mafe on the basis of a measured charging pressure Picm obtained by a charging pressure sensor 44 and the target diaphragm pressure Pdft; and a unit 112 which sets an abnormality flag indicating abnormality of an air bypass valve (ABV) 36 when a state in which the measured charging pressure Picm is larger than a threshold β and the difference between the measured air flow rate mafm and estimated air flow rate mafe is larger than a threshold α last for a predetermined time.
