Abstract:
To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine which can stably perform HCCI after restoration from a fuel cut.SOLUTION: A control device 1 of an internal combustion engine controls the internal combustion engine 2 which can switch premixed compression ignition (HCCI) and a spark ignition (SI), and is mounted to a series hybrid vehicle 10. The control device 1 comprises: an HCCI determination part 12 for determining whether or not the HCCI combustion is possible when restored to a fuel supply state from a fuel cut state; and a continuous combustion command part 15 for making the internal combustion engine 2 continuously perform the HCCI combustion after performing the SI combustion once when it is determined that the HCCI combustion is possible by the HCCI determination part 12. Even in a case where the HCCI combustion is possible at the restoration to the fuel supply from the fuel cut, a temperature in a cylinder 20 can be surely raised by performing the SI combustion firstly. Therefore, the HCCI combustion can be stably performed after the restoration from the fuel cut.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
