Abstract:

To facilitate control of an injection timing of fuel and regulation of its fuel injection rate, and reduce harmful component in exhaust gas and engine noise by providing with an injection mode control means for controlling the injection timing of fuel and an injection rate control means for controlling the injection rate of fuel.

A control device 36 of an internal combustion engine is provided with an injection mode control means 39c and an injection rate control means 39d as control means of fuel injected from a fuel injection nozzle 46. A fuel injection mode is selected on the basis of a detecting signal of an angle sensor 50 by the injection mode control means 39c, and fuel is injected every times or is injected with a thinned-out operation every two rotation times. A heating body 46b of the fuel injection nozzle 46 is individually selected on the basis of an output signal of a load detecting means 53 for detecting rotating speed of the internal combustion engine, current-carrying is controlled, and all injection rate of fuel injected from the fuel injection nozzle 46 is controlled.
