Abstract:
To provide a control device of a machine tool, enabling mechanical vibration of a machine tool upon the cutting time to fall within an acceptable range and furthermore enabling a working time to be reduced, and a machine tool.SOLUTION: A control device 180 of a machine tool causes a cutting tool 130 to perform vibration cutting machining on a workpiece W by relative rotational motion of the workpiece and the cutting tool and feeding motion involving vibration in a machining/feeding direction of the cutting tool with respect to the workpiece. The control device 180 comprises: amplitude setting means (illustrated by an amplitude setting unit 191) which determines and sets amplitude amount of vibration caused by vibrating means (illustrated as a Z-axis directional feeding mechanism 160), from a ratio of amplitude amount to a feeding amount F (illustrated by a vibration to amplitude feeding ratio Q) and the feeding amount; amplitude feeding ratio correcting means (illustrated by an amplitude feeding ratio correcting unit 192) which corrects the ratio of the amplitude to the feeding amount in accordance with the feeding amount when performing the vibration cutting machining; or feeding amount correcting means (illustrated by a feeding amount correcting unit 193) which corrects the feeding amount in accordance with the ratio of the amplitude to the feeding amount, when performing the vibration cutting machining.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
