PURPOSE: To prevent a medical examination bed from operating unexpectedly, even if a control start instruction key is pressed, by normally invalidating a control start instruction and, on the other hand, validating the instruction when control release signals are continuously inputted for the predetermined time to allow the predetermined control signal to be outputted.
CONSTITUTION: A control device 20 for a medical examination bed has the first and second input units 22 and 24 for inputting an instruction to operate the bed. Also, a measurement device 26 detects and outputs current values comprising the rotating angle of the bed around a vertical axis line, the height of a waist mat, the angle of a back mat and the height of a thigh rest. In addition, a memory circuit 28 having a plurality of memory sections saves the current values. Also, a main control circuit 30 controls the first to third drivers 32, 34 and 36, and a melody generator 38. On the other hand, each of the drivers 32, 34 and 36 actuates an electric motor 50 constituting the drive mechanism of the bed and an LED 44 for a solenoid valve 52 and a display. In this case, a control start instruction is outputted, only when a control release instruction is continuously inputted for the predetermined time.
