Abstract:
To inhibit exhaust emission in a low discharge zone from being deteriorated by driving of an internal combustion engine when a position of a hybrid vehicle is recognized incorrectly.SOLUTION: A control device of a hybrid vehicle 1, 1', 1" includes: a position estimation part 15 which uses a vehicle position detection device to estimate a position of the hybrid vehicle; a confidence level calculation part 16 which calculates a confidence level of location information of the hybrid vehicle; and a power output part 18 which controls an internal combustion engine 6 and an electric motor 7 to output power for travelling. The power output part reduces the output of the internal combustion engine compared to when the confidence level is higher than a reference value when the confidence level is lower than or equivalent to the reference value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
