Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a motor for a vehicle which can obtain high stability of running, when regenerative braking is performed on a road having low μ.
SOLUTION: When the road for a vehicle is judged to be a low friction road surface by a low friction road surface judging means 76, the regenerative braking characteristic of a motor generator 14 is changed by a regenerative braking characteristic changing means 80. That is, the regenerative braking characteristic, determined in such a manner that adequate regenerative braking torque, is obtained in a deceleration running on normal pavement is changed into regenerative braking characteristic for a low μ road surface, which is determined in such a manner that a regenerative control torque without generating slip of a drive wheel on a low friction road surface is obtained. Thereby the slippage of the driving wheel is not generated, when the regenerative braking is performed on a low frictional resistance road, i.e., the low μ road whose road surface frictional resistance is low, such as a frozen road and a pressed snow road, and high stability of running can be obtained.
