To download a program for controlling a new network electrical appliance even when sufficient free capacity is not secured in the storage capacity of a control program storage part of a control device for network electrical appliances when the new network electrical appliance is connected to a customer station network.
The control device for network electrical appliances is provided with a program capacity calculation part 106, a free capacity calculation part 107, a storage availability checking part 108, and a control program deletion part 109. The control device calculates the capacity of a control program to be downloaded and the free capacity of a program storage part 103, and when the free capacity is less, a part of control programs stored in the program storage part 103 is deleted to increase the free capacity of the program storage part 103, to store a control program for the new network electric appliance and to control the control program from the control device for network electrical appliances.
