PURPOSE: To improve the accuracy of control of air conditioning and maintain a comfortable indoor environment, by detecting the number of people carrying ID cards in a room, controlling air conditioning of said room on the detected data and the data based on the variation in the number of people in said room.
CONSTITUTION: When people enter a room to be air-conditioned, ID cards 12 carried by those who are in the room transmit signals of specific code. The signals are sent through antenna 4 and TPT 32 to GP 40. In GP 40, operation is conducted on the number of people in the room (n) which has been caught in order to achieve an air- conditioned state corresponding to said number of people (n): values of opening of an outdoor air damper MD1 and a return air damper MD2, and air flow rate of an outdoor air fan OAF being calculated to be transmitted to SRS 50 respectively as control data, so that air conditioning of a room corresponding to the number of people therein can be conducted. When the variation in the number of people exceeds a specified number of variation α, control data corresponding to the number of people after such variation x is sent to EPBX 48, whereby air conditioning is controlled corresponding to the outdoor air quantity for the number of people (x). Such control actions for outdoor air quantity as stated above are successively carried out, so that comfortable environmental conditions corresponding to the number of people are maintained in the room.
