PURPOSE: To stop a passenger conveyer by another contactor contact even when one contactor contact is fused and solidified, by multiply cutting the driving circuit and the magnet brake circuit of a three-phase induction motor with different sorts of contactor contacts.
CONSTITUTION: When the contact 111 of an upward operation contactor is fused and solidified, a stop instruction is generated to make both the output buffer Z11 of the upward operation contactor, and the buffer Z15B of a contactor 15B for brake opening and closing are made in a discontinuety condition, and both the contactor 11 and the contactor 15B are deenergized. But, even when the contact 111 of the upward operation contactor is fused and solidified, the current feeding to a three-phase induction motor is stopped by a contact 15B1 of the contactor for brake opening and closing connected in series, and the braking is applied securely by the contact 15B3 for brake opening and closing. The condition in the downward operation is also same as the upward operation.
