Abstract:

To certainly decelerate and control the extending speed of each pump cylinder before each pump cylinder reaches the maximum extending position without providing a proximity sensor for detecting a piston position immediately before the maximum extending position of each pump cylinder, in a piston concrete pump.

This concrete pump is provided with: a valve position detecting means Sv capable of detecting that a rocking valve tube 15 is in a first or second changeover position; a flow rate adjusting means CS capable of adjusting a flow rate of hydraulic fluid supplied from a hydraulic pump Pu to pump driving cylinders 21, 31; and a control device C controlling the flow rate adjusting means CS so that the flow rate of hydraulic fluid supplied from the hydraulic pump Pu to the pump driving cylinders 21, 31 is reduced lower than a normal value when previously set deceleration start timing set time TeR and TeL elapse after the valve position detecting means Sv detects the first or second changeover position.
