Abstract:

To prevent the generation of damage to a power transmitting device due to lack of the supply quantity of the operating fluid when oil temperature is low, and to prevent the lowering of a service life thereof.

This control device has a friction traveling mode (step S10) for slip-engaging a frictional engaging device to transmit the output of an engine for traveling, and in this friction traveling mode, a large quantity of the operating fluid is used for lubrication, and when viscosity of the operating oil is high in the condition that the oil temperature is low, there is a possibility that return (circulation) of the operating fluid is delayed and that it is difficult to secure a required quantity of the operating fluid for supply. When CVT oil temperature THCVT is lower than the predetermined value THCVT1 (for example, about -20 degree), a determination in the step S1 is NO, and the operation in all traveling mode is prohibited, and the CVT oil temperature THCVT is quickly raised by the warm-up operation of the engine (step S3).
