Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a premixed compression ignition type engine, capable of more reliably securing a correct ignition delay time.SOLUTION: The control device for the premixed compression ignition type engine which causes the self-ignition of mixture in each cylinder 2, includes a fuel injection device 21 for injecting fuel into the cylinder 2, a water injection device 22 for injecting supercritical or subcritical water into the cylinder 2, an EGR passage 51, and EGR gas amount adjusting means 52. When an engine load is lower than a switch load Tq2, the injection amount of the supercritical or subcritical water is smaller than the introduction amount of EGR gas, and when the engine load is not lower than the switch load Tq2, the introduction amount of the EGR gas is smaller than the injection amount of the supercritical or subcritical water.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
