To provide a control device, a refrigerator, an article storage cabinet control system, and an article storage cabinet control method and program capable of improving the convenience of an article storage cabinet.SOLUTION: A control device 1 includes: a correspondence storage unit 132 for storing correspondence information showing a correspondence between lighting mode information of a lighting device 24 and position information of an article storage room; a notification information acquisition unit 111 for acquiring start notification information for giving notification of a use start of a refrigerator 2 by a user; a position information acquisition unit 112 for acquiring position information showing the position of an article in the article storage room; a selection unit 113 for selecting lighting mode information on the basis of position information acquired by the position information acquisition unit 112 with reference to the correspondence information; and a command information generation unit 114 for generating lighting command information for commanding that the lighting device 24 is turned on in a lighting mode selected by the selection unit 113 to transmit the lighting command information to the refrigerator 2 when the notification information acquisition unit 111 acquires the start notification information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
