Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make the operation of a reheating turbine ever so smooth, by installing a secondary hydraulic pressure setting device for both bypass and intercept valves and a starting gear for operating the device, and making both operatable independently with each other. CONSTITUTION:In time of starting, a bypass valve 5 and an intercept valve 11 both are gradually opened from a state of being fully closed by making each of adjusting devices 54 and 56 independent to raise pressure up. When turbine speed reaches the specified valve, starting gears 57 and 58 force each of valves 5 and 11 into full open and afterward, all the control is changed over to the nozzle shutoff speed control operation of a main steam control valve 7 by the hydraulic pressure generated by a speed governor 18. A turbine output variation in time of the changeover is detected by an output detector 38, producing displacement in a sleeve 36 by a solenoid valve 35, and hydraulic pressure in each of secondary hydraulic pressure setting devices 21, 22 and 23 by way of a piston 25 and an adjusting lever 31 varies so as to control the opening of the bypass valve 5, the steam control valve 7 and the intercept valve 11 to move in a direction to make the output variation smaller, thus smooth operation takes place.
