PURPOSE: To prevent the development of off-spec rolling-pressed product by attaching a storage device for the number of die service life, a number of punching counter and an arithmetic processing unit for service life by a counter to the rolling-press machine, detecting the number of punching service life and exchanging the die at that timing to use within the service life.

CONSTITUTION: The die, marking identifying number 6 on the outer peripheral surface is inserted in a fitting hole 4 of die block 3 arranged at fitting recessed part 2 of frame 1 and a work (a), which is set in the die 5, is punched by a punching 8 fitted to a ram 7, to form by rolling-pressing. In this case, suitable service life is stored to the storage device 14 by an inputting device 15 together with the identifying number 6 to every dies 5. The punching signal of punching 8 by working the rolling-press machine A is counted by the counter 13 and an integrating count value of the counter 13 and the number of service life in the storage device 14 are inputted and compared into the arithmetic processing unit 11. And, at the time of coinciding the integrating count value with the number of service life, a stopping signal is outputted from the arithmetic processing unit 11, to stop the rolling-press machine A, and the die 5 is exchanged, and so the development of off-spec rolling-press product caused by wear of die 5 is prevented.
