Abstract:

PURPOSE: To effectively utilize the stroke in a single rod cylinder by selecting a condition feedback vector, stored in a memory means in accordance with the elasticity direction of a single rod cylinder, to operate control input from the condition quantity of a load and the single rod cylinder and a selected condition feedback vector.
CONSTITUTION: Condition feedback vector fA1 and fA2, obtained respectively, in accordance with the elasticity direction of a single rod cylinder 6, are previously stored in the memory means of a controller 30 to operate condition quantity at every given sampling intervals. Also high accurate control can be made through the use of the single rod cylinder 6 by selecting a condition feedback vector at the time of next sampling in accordance with the sign of calculated control input (u), that is, in accordance with the positiveness or negativeness of current to a servo valve 13. When given excitation input is applied to a structure in a vibration damping device, the vibration of the structure can be damped while effectively utilizing the stroke of a rod 7.
