Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the slip of a V-belt by balancingly controlling both pulley oil pressures in mutually reverse directions based on an engine torque, a speed change ratio, and the deviation between a target value and an actual value. CONSTITUTION:DR and DN reference oil pressure determining means 84, 85 determine the reference oil pressures PR, PN of driving side pulley 12 and a driven side pulley 14 so as to be mutually balanced based on an engine torque and a speed change ratio. On the other hand, an oil pressure changing quantity operating means 81 obtains an oil pressure changing quantity p in accordance with the deviation between a target engine speed NR which is calculated by a target value determining means 80 and an actual engine speed Nin. The obtained oil pressure changing quantity p is multiplied by coefficients K1, K2 by proportion means 82, 83 and the products are added and subtracted in the mutually reverse directions to and from the reference oil pressures PR, PN by adding means 86, 87 respectively, and the corresponding duty ratio signals are sent to first and second control valves 43, 45 to carry out the sped change ratio control of a continuously variable transmission 10. Thereby, the slip and excessive side pressure of a V-belt can be prevented improving durability.
