Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a stepping motor capable of reducing rebound of a resin gear by reducing holding torque of the stepping motor when a gear side stopper abuts against a reference stopper.SOLUTION: At the time of an initialization control, during time between energization control and energization control executed next to the energization control, and during the energization control, a control circuit 80 provides an off period for stopping the energization of all the coils 12 to 15. Then, by demagnetizing all the electromagnetic forces generated in the coils 12 to 15 in the OFF period, holding torque of a stepping motor 10 by the electromagnetic force is eliminated. As a result, since the torque generated in the stepping motor 10 is reduced to the detent torque, it is possible to avoid accumulation of rebound energy generated in an output gear 60 when stoppers 61, 70 are brought into contact with each other. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the rebound of the output gear 60.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
