PURPOSE: To provide a control device for sunlight lighting in which the waste of power consumption can be reduced.
CONSTITUTION: In a sunlight lighting device a lighting prism 1 is arranged at a lighting portion so as to be free in rotating, or plural lighting prism 1, 2 are arranged with a predetermined spacing, and the rotation angles of the lighting prism 1, 2 are controlled corresponding to the altitude and the bearing of the sun so that the sunlight deflected by the prisms 1, 2 radiates in a predetermined direction. The sunlight lighting device is equipped with a day/night distinction device 12 which distinguishes whether the sunlight lighting device-installed location is in the daytime or at night, a daytime power consumption mode setting device 10, a night power consumption mode setting device 11, and a switching device 9. The drive of the sunlight lighting device is controlled by the daytime power consumption mode setting device 10, when the day/night distinction device 12 distinguishes it is the daytime, and by the night power consumption mode setting device 11 after being turned over by the switching device 9, when the day/night distinction device 12 distinguishes it is night.
