Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the progress of deterioration in a secondary battery and make the secondary battery into an appropriate temperature before the start of operation of the secondary battery irrespective of the capacity of the secondary battery before the start of operation.SOLUTION: When an instruction reception unit 141 receives an instruction to start the operation of the secondary battery 120, a charge/discharge control unit 144 causes a secondary battery 120 to repeat charging at a charge rate for preparation and discharging at a discharge rate for preparation if the temperature of the secondary battery 120, acquired by a temperature acquisition unit 142, is lower than a first temperature threshold. At least one of the charge and the discharge rates for preparation is lower than a preset charge or discharge rate for ordinary operation.
