Abstract:

To make it possible to efficiently sell power by a photovoltaic power generation while suppressing speed of deterioration of a battery.

A control device of a storage battery charges the storage battery with optimum charge current by comprising: a power generation state detection unit for detecting end and/or start of power generation on the basis of generated power output to a system when a solar cell generates the power; a charge amount detection unit for detecting an amount of charge of the storage battery which is charged with charge current from the system and supplies power to a power load; and a charge control unit for charging the storage battery by determining start and end time of charging the storage battery and the charge current so that a predetermined amount of charge is achieved by the time the subsequent power generation starts, on the basis of past start time of the power generation and the amount of charge.
