PURPOSE: To cut back the number of parts and to realize the miniaturization and low costing of a whole device by forming the structure transmitting the power of a motor in an actuator to a throttle shaft via the rotor provided on the output shaft thereof and a locking lever.
CONSTITUTION: A throttle valve 3 is fixed to the throttle shaft 4 freely rotatably supported on a throttle body 2 and a worm wheel 8 is supported freely turnably via a bush 6 at one end part of the shaft 4 projecting to the external part from the body 2. The worm wheel 8 is provided with a tooth only at one part of the circumference and made of the structure having a locking claw 10 as well and the worm gear 12 on the output shaft 11a of a motor 11 is meshed with the tooth thereof. The locking lever 13 transmitting the rotation of the worm wheel 8 to the shaft 4 is fixed to one end part of the shaft 4. A throttle lever (not shown in a fig.) is then loosely fitted to the other end part of the shaft 4 and this lever is energized in the valve closing direction by a coil spring.
