Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily store the signals of various forms in the communication system of a medium sharing type using a time division multiple access system for an incoming channel.
SOLUTION: Terminal station equipment 1 and plural subscriber terminals 2 are connected by a passive optical fiber network 3 and the access control of the incoming channel from the subscriber terminals 2 to the terminal station equipment 1 is performed by the time division multiple access system. The frame of a fixed length is set to the incoming channel, the frame is divided into plural incoming sub frames further and the respective incoming sub frames are constituted of a time slot provided with an intrinsic length for each incoming sub frame. For each incoming sub frame, the respective signals provided with an intrinsic signal form such as incoming STM signals 23-B, incoming ATM signals 24-B and incoming Ether packet signals 25-B are independently allocated with bands, stored and transmitted.
