Abstract:

To provide a control device for a vacuum generation device capable of suitably coping with or getting capable of coping with freezing generated in the vacuum generation device.

ECU 40A controls the vacuum generation device 100 comprising an ejector 30 generating vacuum higher than vacuum to be taken out from an intake manifold 14 of an internal combustion engine 50 provided on a vehicle and VSV (vacuum switching valve) 1 making the ejector 30 function and stop function, and is provided with a freezing generation determination means determining existence of freezing according to change of flow rate of intake air flowing in the elector 30 when the VSV 1 is controlled to make the ejector 30 function in a low temperature start warming up process. Concretely, the freezing generation determination means determines whether flow rate of intake air flowing in the ejector 30 suddenly drops or not, and determines generation of freezing when flow rate suddenly drops.
