Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute operation based on deceleration intention of a driver.SOLUTION: A control device of a vehicle drive unit includes: a change gear 13 and a torque converter 15 switching transmission and a shutdown of power between an engine 11 and a wheel; and a control unit 100 controlling the change gear 13 and the torque converter 15. When an accelerator is in an off state and an accelerator off velocity Vacc is a predetermined first velocity V1 or more, the control unit 100 makes engine brake act by fastening of the change gear 13 and the torque converter 15, while when the accelerator is in the off state and the accelerator off velocity Vacc is less than the first velocity V1, releases the change gear 13 and the torque converter 15.
