Abstract:
To suppress the generation of a shock and a judder caused by a variation of a load of an oil pump when fastening a lockup clutch from a release state during the coast traveling of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A control device 10 has an ECU 11 for controlling the torque of an engine 1, and an ATCU 12 for controlling an automatic transmission 3, and outputting a load level signal corresponding to a load of an oil pump 5 to the ECU 11. When the ATCU 12 performs fastening control for fastening a lockup clutch 2a from a release state during the coast traveling of a vehicle 100, the ATCU outputs a load level signal having a prescribed magnitude to the ECU 11 as a pseudo load level signal irrespective of an actual load of the oil pump 5, and the ECU 11 controls the torque of the engine 1 on the basis of the pseudo load level signal during the execution of the fastening control.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
