When a brake switch is OFF and an accelerator is fully closed at down shift, the feedback gain is set so as to secure a converge stability to a target rotation speed (synchronous rotation speed) and mitigate speed change shocks. When the brake switch is ON or an accelerator is open, the feedback gain is set so as to promptly approximate the target rotation speed and secure a speed change responsiveness.
