To provide a control device for a vehicle capable of accelerating warming up of a catalyst without deteriorating fuel economy in a flex fuel vehicle.
The control device for the vehicle is mounted on the flex fuel vehicle. The control device for the vehicle includes a fuel supply means and a combination ratio determination means. The fuel supply means supplies fuel to the engine based on the combination ratio of the fuel determined by the combination ratio determination means. The combination ratio determination means determines combination ratio of gasoline and alcohol. The combination ratio determination means reduces combination ratio of alcohol when ignition timing is delayed. The control device for the vehicle can inhibit deterioration of fuel economy by doing this control even if ignition timing is delayed for warming up the catalyst.
