Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a vehicle capable of improving deterioration of steering performance when a tire pressure is low.SOLUTION: A control device for a vehicle includes an electric power steering control section 31 for controlling an assist motor 16 according to steering operation of a steering member 1, an idling stop control section 34 for shifting an engine into an idling stop state for stopping the engine when a predetermined shift condition is established and starting the engine by releasing the idling stop state when a predetermined return condition is established, and a tire pressure detection section 10 for detecting a tire pressure. The shift condition includes a steering amount of the steering member 1, and the shift condition is changed so that the shift condition is more difficult to be established as the tire pressure is lower. The return condition includes the steering amount of the steering member 1, and the return condition is changed so that the return condition is more easily to be established as the tire pressure is lower.
