Abstract:
To provide a device which can properly detect the differential rotation of a start clutch which is engaged when a vehicle is friction-started.SOLUTION: A control device of a vehicle comprises: a drive force source; drive wheels; an automatic transmission for transmitting torque between the drive force source and the drive wheels; a start clutch for selectively transmitting and blocking the torque between the drive force source and the automatic transmission, or between an input shaft and an output shaft of the automatic transmission; and a calculation part for determining a downslide of the vehicle to a reverse direction in a state that a shift position for making the vehicle travel to a forward direction is selected, and calculating differential rotation being a difference between a rotation number of an input-side member and a rotation number of an output-side member. When the generation of the downslide is determined, the rotation number of the output-side member is set as a negative value (step S3), and the differential rotation is calculated (step S5).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
