Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reliably accomplish gear parking by generating a select signal to an electronic control device by selection of parking position, and performing gear speed change after a key switch is turned off. CONSTITUTION:When a selector lever 7 is switched to P-range, X signal is input to a control device 9 by action of the respective X contacts of ON switch of a selector switch 7a and B switch to judge whether the gear position of a speed change gear 6 is first speed or not. If it is a gear position other than the first speed, a command is given to an actuator 5 to shift the gear position to the first speed. Even if a key switch is OFF, the operation is retained, with a main relay connected for a designated time by inputting X signal to the control device 9. Accordingly, after the key switch is turned off, the gear is reliably forced to enter a speed change step with a large speed change ratio by operation of the selector lever after the lapse of time, so that gear parking can be accomplished in case of slope parking.
