Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize holding torque at parking brake time, and to avoid useless energy consumption by an actuator.
SOLUTION: This control device of a brake is provided with an electric motor 23 for applying rotation checking torque for resisting rotation of wheels by pressing a braking member (a brake shoe 22) to a braking object member (a drum 21) integrally rotating with the wheels, a service brake control means for applying the rotation checking torque at service brake time by controlling an electric current supplied to the electric motor according to an operation quantity of a brake pedal 60 and a parking brake control means for applying the rotation checking torque parking brake time by controlling the electric current supplied to the electric motor according to operation indication of a parking brake. The parking brake control means sets the rotation checking torque at parking brake time on the basis of actual rotation checking torque detected by a pressurizing force sensor 26 at service brake time.
