Abstract:

To provide control device of a vehicular power transmission enlarging a slip control area, in the control device of the vehicular power transmission equipped with a torque converter having a lock-up clutch.

A capacity coefficient control means 126 can reduce assignment torque TCLassigned to the lock-up clutch L/U and can suppress increase of a heat generation amount QCLof the lock-up clutch L/U to increase a capacity coefficient C of the torque converter 6 based on the heat generation amount QCLgenerated during slip control of the lock-up clutch L/U. Accordingly, the slip control can be performed in a travel area where the slip control is conventionally impossible according to increase of the heat generation amount QCLof the lock-up clutch L/U. Thereby, as the travel area for performing the slip control can be enlarged, the fuel efficiency can be improved.
