PURPOSE: To obtain a piling ratio up to a given period during pile weaving and to indicate the value thereof or to give an alarm or to automatize target value control of pile ratio.

CONSTITUTION: During weaving of pile woven fabric, a pile ratio is obtained from a ratio of an amount of ground warp sent and an amount of pile warp sent, shown by an indicator or the obtained pile ratio is compared with a tolerance ratio of pile ratio, an alarm is given or automatic control is carried out by a pile handling means so as to make the pile ratio coincident with the target pile ratio to automatize control of pile ratio (pile weight).
